Chinese Lantern Safety Information

It is important to read the following Chinese Lantern Safety Information before use. Essentially the Sky Lantern is a safe product but like anything that includes a naked flame there are safety procedures that should be followed.

Make sure that you familiarize yourself fully with the instructions provided on how to use your Sky Lantern.

Always keep water or fire extinguishers nearby

Children must not be left unattended with the lanterns.

Ensure that the wind is not stronger than 5 mph.

Use care around dry crops.

Ensure that trees are not in the flight path.

Do not release within five miles of an airport.

If you plan to let them off at a beach location then please inform the coast guard of your intentions so this does not incur a call out

Launching your Chinese Lanterns:

1. Check wind direction
2. Ensure there are no obstacles in the way of the intended balloon flight.
3. Ensure lantern is fully open.
